Leeds was lined with boozers dressed as Men in Black with inflatable aliens, Chucky, Freddy Krueger, murdered dolls, Scream and characters from The Purge.

One group of pals even went to the effort as dressing up as iconic band the Spice Girls.

Hundreds headed out to attempt the city’s famous two-and-a-half-mile Otley Run which includes 17 vomit-inducing venues.

Participants begin at Woodies before swilling snifters at 16 other watering holes during the challenge, which takes place several times a year.

Drinkers sip a final brew at the aptly named Dry Dock – a narrow boat-turned-pub.

A blonde woman dressed as a Disney princess while others opted for a comfier classic pumpkin costume.

And one man pulled off a bloodied cheerleader costume with blood-splattered knee-high socks and a brunette wig in the style of bunches.

Meanwhile, his pals went as Chucky’s wife and the witch from musical Wicked.

Another group went as cowgirls wearing hats, boots and carrying a blow-up horse.

The Joker and Harley Quinn also made an appearance.

The northern city was hit with highs of 12C over the weekend.

But the chilly breeze didn’t stop the fishnet tights and mini skirts coming out.

There were a few spots of sunny spells which will continue most of Sunday.

However light showers are expected to hit this evening.

Further down south, highs of 14C are predicted today along with some sunshine after drizzles clear toward the afternoon.
