Another evil Hamas chief who helped plan depraved Oct 7 attack has been wiped out in Israeli airstrike
Vile Abu Itiwi worked for UN refugee agency UNWRA
A HAMAS commander who killed a Brit-Israeli citizen and worked for the UN’s aid agency in Gaza has been wiped out.
Terrorist Mohammed Abu Itiwi helped mastermind last year’s October 7 massacres.
He led the killing and kidnapping of music festival fans, and cornered heroic British-Israelicitizen Aner Shapira, in a roadside bomb shelter.
Dashcam footage showed fanatic Abu Itiwi hurling grenades at Aner, 22, and his unarmed pals.
Aner, whose mum was born in Oxford, managed to bravely throw seven back but died when the eighth exploded.
Abu Itiwi, who worked for UN refugee agency UNWRA, was killed last month when his vehicle was hit by an air strike in Gaza.
UNWRA confirmed his death and said he had worked there since July 2022.
Aner’s architect dad Moshe said: “I’m happy he is dead, not because I want revenge, but because he can’t kill anyone again.
“Aner gave his life for others — that is the most human thing one can do.”
Last night, Israeli military chiefs said fighter jets eliminated Itiwi in a strike targeting his vehicle in central Gaza.
A spokesperson said: “Abu Itiwi was involved in the murder and abduction of Israeli civilians.
“He led the murderous attack on the bomb shelter on Route 232 in the area of Re’im in southern Israel.
“Throughout the war, Abu Itiwi directed and carried out numerous attacks on IDF troops operating in the Gaza Strip.”
