TWO workmen have been filmed wrestling on a customer's lawn in a bizarre "sissy fight" when they were meant to be installing a fibre optic broadband cable.

The stunned home owner mocked them for "fighting like 12-year-old girls", joking it looked like a "lovers' quarrel".

The brawling builders - employed by a subcontractor working for phone company AT&T - came to blows in the customer's backyard in San Antonio, Texas.

Video shows them grappling and rolling on the lawn with their legs entwined, pushing at each other's faces, pulling hair each other's hair and throwing soft punches.

The home owner spotted the "girly" bust-up on a security camera feed to her mobile phone.

She : "Who knows how long this fight was going on before I opened my live feed on my security app.

"I'm so sad there's no audio, I can only imagine."

The video has had thousands of views after the woman posted it on Facebook.

She wrote: "These idiots are supposed to be installing AT&T fiber wire not getting into a lovers' quarrel.

"It's a full on chick fight, about the sissiest fight I've ever seen in my life. I could have done a better job at kickin' those boys tails.

"Honestly, I couldn't tell if they were playing around and wrestling or what. Then I saw some sissy hair pulling and thought, 'Oh no way! This is for real!'

"Two grown men rolling around pulling hair like a bunch of sissy pants."

One pal on Facebook said: "This is an insult to 12-year-old girls everywhere."

Another said: "Are they related? They're fighting like siblings who don't want to do much damage, but aren't above a noogie. I was waiting for one to start the 'stop hitting yourself, stop hitting yourself...'."

AT&T said in a statement: "This involved employees of a company that was hired by one of our contractors, and obviously didn't meet our requirements of how they conduct themselves.

"We're sorry that our customer had this experience, and we have apologised. The contractor has assured us they will no longer use this company when working for us."
