Four-year-old girl found wandering streets alone in her Peppa Pig pyjamas with her pet Staffordshire bull terrier
The tot has now been reunited with her family after she was found by a bobby on the beat
A FOUR-year-old girl was found wandering alone down the street with her pet Staffordshire bull terrier.
The tot, named Teegan, was dressed in her Peppa Pig pyjamas and was only found by chance when a bobby on the beat spotted her with mutt Blue.
She was cared for by cops in Burnley, Lancs, until her family were tracked down fifteen minutes later.
Kindly officers said they had fed her toast in the police station canteen before she was reunited with her relieved parents.
Posting to Facebook, Burnley and Padiham police earlier wrote: "We are urgently appealing for information to find the parents of a 4yr old child who has just been found.

"At this time the only details known of the child is that she is called Teegan and is aged around 4yrs old.
"Teegan is described as having brown hair and brown eyes and is wearing blue Peppa Pig pyjama bottoms, a pink nightie with a sheep on the front and a white floral pattern coat.
"She was found walking a brindle coloured Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog.
"Teegan is currently safe and enjoying a few of slices of toast in the police canteen but any information to assist us in uniting her with parents would be greatly appreciated."
After she was safely returned home a spokesman for the force told : "With reference to our previous appeal to trace the parents of 4yr old Teegan and 'Blue' the dog, an address has now been confirmed and her parents are on route to collect her from the police station.
"Massive thanks for all your concern, shares and comments."
