Airports, ports and stations on alert as ‘concerned’ cops continue search for missing mum and her two young kids

AIRPORTS, ports and stations have been alerted as "concerned" police continue to hunt for a missing mum and her two young kids, last seen on Monday.

Samantha Baldwin has disappeared with Louis Madge, nine, and Dylan Madge, six. The youngsters also use the surname Taylor.

The three were last seen near Nottingham City Centre and police have said they are "concerned" for their welfare.

In a press conference Superintendent Richard Fretwell said: "I am worried about them and it is really important that we find Samantha and the two boys safe and well and therefore, just to reiterate, the importance of getting the general public, any friends and associates to help us in finding them safe and well."

The reports that UK airports, ports and train stations have been alerted following the disappearance of the family.

Samantha is described as 5ft 7ins tall, of a slim build with shoulder length, highlighted blonde hair and green/blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing a red knee-length coat but may have changed her clothing since.

Louis is described as having collar-length straight fair hair, a fair complexion and blue eyes.

Dylan is described as having collar-length straight dark brown hair, a tanned complexion and brown eyes.

The family, from Newark, have connections to both Lincolnshire and Manchester and may have travelled there after they were last seen.

Anyone with information of their whereabouts is asked to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101 urgently, quoting incident number 332 of 27 March 2017.
