EYE-WATERING video shows the moment doctors used an angle grinder to saw a metal ring off an OAP's willy.
The pensioner's manhood ballooned after he slipped the ring on for kinky kicks and could not get it off again.
He suffered such serious swelling that doctors had to call in firemen for help in Hanzhong, north-west China.
The ring was too tough to cut with pliers so they turned to the angle grinder as a last resort.
Footage from the operating theatre shows the man lying with his legs spread as a surgeon lowers the power tool, sending up a shower of sparks.
After some 30 minutes of careful cutting the patient was finally freed from his sticky situation.
The man's family had earlier spent hours trying to remove the pleasure aid after discovering him in agony.
In the end they took him to hospital and claimed their relative was suffering from a "minor mental disorder."
Dr Zhang Gang said: "The patient's foreskin was showing severe swelling - it was purple.
"If we had waited any longer, we would have had to remove it entirely."
The unnamed man is now recovering in Hanzhong People’s Hospital.
