A MUM has appeared in court accused of murdering her six-year-old son and trying to kill her own dad on the same day.
Little Alexander Zurawski was found dead in a pool of blood at the family home in Swansea.
He had suffered a "significant" neck injury in the August 29 horror.
Karolina Zurawska, 41, has been charged with murdering her son and attacking her dad Krzysztof Siwi, 67, on the same day.
She appeared at Swansea Crown Court today accused of murder and attempted murder.
Zurawska spoke only to confirm her name and was not asked to enter pleas.

A trial was due to take place on February 17 but has been adjourned pending further reports.
The judge instead scheduled a mention hearing for that date.
An inquest into Alexander's death in September heard police had rushed to the house after receiving calls from horrified neighbours.
Officers found him with "a significant injury to the neck and having suffered blood loss".

"Alexander was always helpful, always eager to assist with cooking and cleaning.
"Alexander spoke both English and Polish and would often correct his parents with their English if they got words wrong. He was amazing."
