AI RAP APOLOGY

Labour apologises after using rap song about drugs and sexual assault in AI TikTok targeting young voters

Labour admitted the lyrics were 'completely inappropriate'

LABOUR was forced to say sorry after using a rap about drugs and sexually assaulting girls in an AI TikTok video targeting young voters.

The clip, posted on Labour’s official account, featured tech-generated animals explaining party pledges such as a hare for a “faster NHS” and a bulldog for “safe streets”.

But the music, taken from the Brazilian song Montagem Coral by DJ Holanda, sparked outrage as it included lyrics too obscene to print in a family newspaper.

Translated, it refers to assaulting girls and getting them addicted to sex, beer and drugs.

Tory MP Alicia Kearns blasted: “So much for telling us we’ll feel safer with you in charge.

The video was swiftly deleted after the backlash, with Labour admitting the lyrics were “completely inappropriate.”

The blunder is even more damaging as it comes amid growing calls for a full independent inquiry into child sexual exploitation and grooming in Oldham.

A party spokesman said: “The post is an adaptation of a viral social media trend and contains a mix of two music tracks.

"We acknowledge the translation of the lyrics are completely inappropriate.

"We apologise and the video has now been deleted.”
