Moment yobs attack each other with MACHETES in shopping centre brawl as terrified onlookers flee

THIS is the horrifying moment yobs attack each other with machetes in a shopping centre brawl.

Terrified onlookers fled Westfield Stratford, in London, on Sunday as a group of hooded teens wearing balaclavas waved the bladed weapons around and pounced on each other.

Shocking footage captured on a shopper's phone shows the clash erupt outside an entrance to the shopping centre.

In the clip, two thugs are battling on the wet concrete floor before one starts landing several punches to the other's head.

Meanwhile, two males gang up on an individual - attempting to get him in a headlock and trying to slash him with a machete as he breaks free from their grip.

Two Westfield security officers can be seen strolling over to the group as one teen kicks another in the stomach knocking him to the ground.

Three other yobs then join in the attack as he lays helplessly.

A hooded male launches himself at a rival while wielding a machete and appears to make a stabbing motion in the direction of him.

The same thug then attempts to slash one teen in particular multiple times as someone screams "Go away".

The group then starts to disperse as panicked young girls try and break the boys up.

Cops and ambulance crews raced to the scene around 7pm where no serious injuries were reported.

Three people were however treated at the scene and taken to hospital.

Four males aged between 16 and 17 were arrested, Met Police confirmed.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: "Police were called at approximately 7pm on Sunday, 5 January to reports of a fight involving a group of people, some armed with knives, in the vicinity of Westfield, E20.

"Officers and London Ambulance Service attended.

"There were no reports of any serious injuries.

"Four males aged 16 and 17 were arrested on suspicion of affray. Enquiries into the circumstances continue.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 6.31pm on Sunday 5 January to reports of a stabbing at Westfield Stratford City, E20.

"We sent resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, an advanced paramedic and an incident response officer.

"We also dispatched paramedics from our tactical response unit. We treated three patients at the scene and took them to a major trauma centre."

Westfield declined to comment.
