SARA Sharif’s killer stepmum was given a cushy job in a prison library — and even got to cook for fellow convicts.
Beinash Batool, 30, got the role while she was awaiting trial for murdering Sara after being arrested in September 2023.
A former inmate at HMP Bronzefield, in Surrey, who was released last October, told The Sun that Batool was quickly given the position.
She said: “She got a job in the library in her block almost as soon as she got there.
“It’s the job everyone wants in there, you only have to work a few days a week and it’s quite easy.”
The woman added that Batool was also permitted to make food.

She said: “She was even allowed into the kitchen to cook a meal during the Eid religious festival for fellow prisoners.”
Batool, was found guilty last month of killing ten-year-old Sara in August 2023, along with the girl’s dad Urfan Sharif.
She was given a life sentence with a minimum term of 33 years and remains at Bronzefield.
Sodexo, the company which manages the prison, declined to comment yesterday.
