Teenage girl sexually assaulted twice by stranger on Tube with cops releasing CCTV in urgent manhunt

The force believe the man can help aid their investigation

COPS have launched a manhunt after a teenage girl was sexually assaulted twice by a stranger on the Tube.

The teenager was sexually assaulted on a Metropolitan Line service from Finchley Road to Baker Street at around 8.15am on Thursday, December 5.

The victim then boarded another train from Baker Street to King’s Cross in London where the same man sexually assaulted her again.

Detectives investigating the sexual assaults have now released two images in connection to the incident.

British Transport Police officers believe the man in the CCTV footage may have information which could aid their investigation.

Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 469 of 5 December.

BTP said in a full statement: "Do you recognise this man?

"Detectives investigating a sexual assault on board a Metropolitan line train have today released these images in connection.

"At around 8:15am on Thursday 5 December, a teenage girl was sexually assaulted by a man on board train from Finchley Road to Baker Street.

"The victim then boarded another train from Baker Street to King’s Cross where the same man sexually assaulted her again.
