Cops release CCTV of missing girl, 14, showing last known movements with anyone who sees her urged to call 999

The youngster was last seen on Monday morning

COPS have released a CCTV image of a missing teenage girl and urged anyone who sees her to get in touch.

Chloe, 14, went missing from Witney in Oxford, at 8.30am on Monday, according to police.

Chloe, whose surname has not been disclosed, is described by police as white, around 5ft 4ins with brown hair

She was last seen wearing a grey hoodie, dark jogging bottoms, black Nike Air Force trainers, and she had a black bag.

Thames Valley Police released a CCTV image of Chloe, which was captured on January 6 in Oxford.

The teenager was last sighted in the east area of Oxford, heading towards Headington Hill on Monday morning.

Chief Inspector Jim Holmes said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Chloe’s welfare and would ask anyone with information on where she may be to get in touch.

“Chloe, if you are reading this, you are not in any trouble. We are concerned for you, so please contact us and let us know where you are.

“If you see Chloe, please call 999.

“Alternatively, if you have any other information, please call us on 101 or leave your information via our website, quoting reference 43250008078.”

Thames Valley Police confirmed to The Sun today that the search for Chloe is still ongoing.

After the teen failed to return home, mum Lorraine posted a desperate plea on Facebook yesterday in search for her daughter.

The post read: "Hi everyone, our beautiful daughter, Chloe, is currently missing, maybe in Witney or Oxford.

"If anyone knows where she is or hears from her please get in touch with Dom or myself.

"We just love her so much and just want her home safe and sound."

Friends of Lorraine responded with their sympathies and have shared the post in hope of finding Chloe back safe.

Her relative Laura also took to social media looking for help, writing: "My cousin’s lovely daughter Chloe, is missing.

"This is never happened before.

"Everyone is heartbroken and wanting her home."

Police guidance on missing people states the person will not be in trouble when found and it is not wasting officers' time to report someone as missing.
