Who performed at Donald Trump’s first inauguration?

A PRESIDENT'S inauguration is a ceremony of tradition but also a time for artists to perform to the US and the world.
As Donald Trump gets ready for his second term in office, let's look at the artists that performed at his 2017 swearing-in event.
Trump's 2017 ceremony featured musicians from across different genres and levels of fame.
On the evening of January 19, 2017, a concert called the "Make America Great Again! Welcome Celebration," was held in Washington D.C.
Several country singers showed up for the American leader at his pre-inauguration day bash.
Singer-songwriter Toby Keith performed and Lee Greenwood sang God Bless The USA.
Several bands also showed up for the new president, including The Piano Guys and rock group 3 Doors Down.
The show even included electronic music from DJ Ravidrums.
On the day of the inauguration itself - January 20, 2017 - 17-year-old opera singer and former America's Got Talent star Jackie Evancho sang the national anthem.
The Mormon Tabernacle Choir sang America The Beautiful at the swearing-in ceremony accompanied by “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band.
There was more music at the three official inaugural balls after the official ceremony.
At the Liberty Ball. Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump danced to the first song, Frank Sinatra's My Way performed by jazz singer Erin Boheme.
They danced to My Way again at the Freedom Ball, and were treated to music by Tony Orlando and the Josh Weathers Band at the Salute To Our Armed Services Ball.
Several big name stars came out and publicly stated they were asked to perform during these events.
These names included music royalty Elton John.
Moby, 2 Chainz, The Beach Boys, and David Foster also refused.
The President-elect has attracted bigger stars for the start of his second term at The White House.
Country star Carrie Underwood revealed she would sing America The Beautiful at the January 20, 2025, event at the US Capitol.
Underwood said she was "honored" to have received the invite.
The singer said: "I am humbled to answer the call at a time when we must all come together in the spirit of unity and looking to the future."
Country star Lee Greenwood will also perform at the ceremony, with opera singer Christopher Macchio singing the ntaionl anthem.
Disco group Village People, best known for their hit song YMCA, will also perform at Trump's second inauguration.
They will take to the stage at a pre-inauguration event on January 19.
Trump's second ceremony will be held on Monday, January 20, 2025.
This date coincides with Martin Luther King Jr. Day, which is a federal holiday.
Trump's swearing-in ceremony will start at 12pm ET.
