THE dramatic story of iconic rap star Tupac Shakur, who was killed in a drive-by shooting at the height of his fame, will be brought to life in an emotive new biopic.
A powerful new trailer for the film All Eyez On Me, set to be released in June, shows newcomer Demetrius Shipp Jr looking almost identical to the real Tupac.
The fascinating story follows Tupac's childhood, growing up in Harlem, New York, to revolutionary parents who were part of the Black Panther Party.
It details the talented star's rise to fame, brushes with the law, and the backlash to the gangster rap scene from politicians.

As he strays towards violence, his childhood friend Jada Pinkett - played by The Vampire Diaries Kat Graham - tells him: "The man I knew wanted to use his voice to educate, to bring people together."
He replies: "Jada, if he's coming at me, he's going to get dealt with."
The film stars The Walking Dead's Danai Gurira as Tupac's mum, The Wire's Jamie Hector as his stepdad and Jamal Woolard as his rap rival the Notorious B.I.G.
It starts with his stepdad telling him he must "be willing to die for something" in an emotional pep-talk, as Tupac is told he could unite the revolutionaries and the gang culture emerging in the early 1990s.
It documents right up until his death aged just 25 outside a Mike Tyson fight on the Las Vegas strip in 1996.
He narrates: "We must not hate those who have done wrong to us, for as soon as we hate them, we become just like them."
The film will be released on June 16 which would have been Tupac's 46th birthday.
