Horror as mum, 27, torn apart by pack of starving dogs at friend’s house while neighbours heard her screams in Italy
A MUM was savagely killed by a pack of starving dogs who tore her body apart, as neighbours heard her harrowing screams.
Patricia Masithela, 27, was horrifically attacked while visiting a friend in the Lazio region of Italy.
The mother had visited a derelict villa in the town of Latina, in the early hours of Monday morning.
She had reportedly gone the property to meet a male friend, who unbeknownst to her was not home at the time.
It is believed Patricia and the homeowner - a 40-year-old man - had previously been in a relationship together.
Authorities later revealed the house was neglected, uninhabitable, and was seized from it's owner for an investigation.

Neighbours raised the alarm around 3am when they heard harrowing screams from the house.
The vicious dogs were chased off and two of the savage animals had to be shot by rescuers attempting to save the mother.
One of the murderous beasts was killed while the other was injured by the gunshot.
She was found lying in a pool of blood and was rushed to Santa Maria Goretti Hospital in an attempt to save her life.

The mother had sustained deep and deadly wounds across her body.
Patricia, who was of Nigerian origin, worked as a barista in the area but tragically died from her injuries.
The 27-year-old left behind a 5-year-old daughter after the shocking attack.
Authorities launched an investigation into the horrifying death and revealed they had located the savage dogs' owner.
The pack of murderous dogs had been malnourished, lacked microchips, and reportedly had a history of aggression.
These animals had also reportedly attacked their owner and his girlfriend a week ago.
Authorities ordered an autopsy to determine the mother's exact cause of death.
The mother also left behind her brother and sister, who live in the local area.
