Major search launched for missing family-of-five who vanished from Edinburgh
A MAJOR search has been launched for a family that have gone missing from Edinburgh.
The family-of-five have vanished from the capital earlier today.
Officers are desperately searching for dad Serbanica-Ibram Saban, 32, and mum Narcisca Baci, 28.
With them are their three children, who are also missing.
Their two daughters, Bahara Denisa Baci, 13, and Shakira Baci, 7, are belived to be with them along with their 11-month-old son Umut-yronn Saban.
The family were last seen around 12.30pm in the Captain's Road area of the city.
Superintendent Murray Tait said: “Our concern for the family is growing and we would urge anyone who has information on their whereabouts to contact police urgently.
“We believe the children and their parents are together but we want to ensure they are safe and well.
“If anyone sees any of the family or knows their whereabouts, please contact Police Scotland urgently on 101, quoting incident number 1380 of 16 January, 2024.”
