TikToker Chris O’Donnell dies suddenly at 31 – days after revealing ‘one of his proudest moments’ in now tragic clip

O'Donnell shared a cryptic post about how he'd like to be remembered

A TIKTOK star and fitness influencer has died at the age of 31.

Chris O’Donnell, who had more than 800,000 followers on the popular social media app, died on January 11, his family said.

"Haven't shared this before but reminiscing on old memories and this was one I gravitated back towards," he captioned the clip.

";Went ahead and threw some photos from the event down there in case I start to bore folks to death."

The text on the video said: "I know it's long, but felt like sharing one of my proudest moments as a brother, being able to send these two off into the next chapter of their lives."

His brother and his wife were seen beaming in the clip.

Last November, he also posted a message where he wondered how he'd like to be remembered after he died.

"I wonder when I leave this earth, when I leave the rat race, when I'm lying in the dirt, if you'd remember my face," the caption said.

He accompanied the caption with a montage showing him exploring the wilderness.

O'Donnell's last Instagram post was a picture of himself wearing a hat and shades.

"That they do," the caption said.

Tributes have poured in after news of his death emerged.

“Chris, I'll love you forever. You've been a light in my life since we met in 2016,” pal Morgan Ballou said.

“You've been a light in my life since we met in 2016.”

Ballou said he wished he kept in touch with O'Donnell more than he did.

"I have so many wishes. In the end, I wish you peace," he said.

"My heart is broken."

Fellow influencer Iron Sanctuary, whose real name is Kevin Clevenger, penned a heartbreaking post.

"One day I'll find peace in knowing you're not in pain anymore, but today my heart aches that you're gone. I love you."

Dozens of fans have paid their own tributes to the late TikToker.

O'Donnell racked up more than 28 million likes on TikTok and had more than 240,000 followers on Instagram.

Most of his social media featured clips from his travels, but he also documented his battles with mental health.

He revealed that he had been transparent about his own struggles.

O'Donnell revealed that he got himself sober in 2018 and had been working to help others battling substance abuse.

"I thrive off of true, meaningful connection, and lifting others up but I am also a very solitary person all the same," he said in a 2022 Instagram post.
