THIS is the chilling moment a serial rapist who claimed he was "too good-looking" for an ID parade prowls the streets hunting for victims.

Stuart Thomson skulked through the dark streets of Manchester before attacking four lone women.

17/01/2025 - MANCHESTER - A "dangerous sexual predator" with "an intense hatred for women" targeted four sex workers in one night and attacked them at knifepoint after luring them to secluded parts of Manchester city centre, a court has heard. Stuart Thomson raped three lone women near Mancunian Way in the early hours of 31 January 2024 and attempted to rape a fourth woman, said Greater Manchester Police (GMP). The 34-year-old, from Stockport, has also been convicted at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court of sexual assault, three counts of making threats with a bladed article, and possessing such a weapon. Judge Hilary Manley jailed Thomson for life and ordered him to serve a minimum of 18 years. The judge said Thomson singled out the women because he wrongly thought they would not report what had happened to them and, even if they did, they would not be believed. The court heard that one of the victims called police in the early hours of 31 January to say she had been raped at knifepoint. Three other women later came forward to say they had also been attacked. Det Sgt Jennifer Savazzi said all of the offences had taken place within a five-hour period...PICTURE: UNPIXS 17/01/2025

The fiend first approached the women asking about paying for sexual services before producing a knife.

He then raped three of the terrified victims and attempted to rape a fourth during the sickening three-hour rampage.

Thomson, 34, showed no remorse when he was arrested - claiming he was "too good-looking" for an ID parade.

The predator has now been locked up for life with a minimum term of 18 years after he was convicted of three counts of rape.

Thomson, who admitted robbery, was also found guilty of attempted rape, three counts of threatening a person with a knife, one count of sexual assault and one count of possessing a bladed article.

Sentencing, Judge Hilary Manley said: "You treated each of these women like pieces of meat, as less than human.

"You have a deep-seated and enduring attraction towards dominating, overpowering and sexually humiliating females.”

Manchester Crown Court was told Thomson carried out the "campaign of rape" on January 31 last year.

A woman called 999 reporting she had been raped at knifepoint - leading to officers attending the scene.

While there, a second victim approached police and told them she had also been raped by a predator with a knife.

Police received further reports in the same location throughout the day.

Police trawled the CCTV to piece together Thomson's movements and noticed he was wearing distinctive items of clothing - including a coat with green lining, a wool hat, and a high-vis style T-shirt.

Officers discovered the wool hat the scene and tracked down Thomson, who was wearing the distinctive jacket when arrested.

Police seized a number of other items of clothing that the rapist was wearing in the CCTV footage.

Detective Sergeant Jennifer Savazzi from our Longsight Criminal Investigations Department said: “It’s clear that Stuart Thomson is a dangerous sexual predator.

"He forcibly imposed himself upon these women in a violent and callous way with no consideration for the damage he was doing to them.

“I would like to praise our victims and survivors who have shown extraordinary courage throughout and have done all they can to assist the investigation and prosecution, it is their courage which has got us here today.

"his has been a lengthy and difficult process for them, and I am full of admiration for the courage and tenacity they have shown.

“By not accepting responsibility, Thompson has forced them to relive their pain throughout this trial. The harm offenders like Thomson cause are incalculable, but I hope this result goes some way in reassuring our victims, survivors, and members of the public that a dangerous man is off our streets, and i welcome this sentence today.”
