Brave mum reveals horror injuries & shares harrowing video of TikTok star ex strangling her during 4yr abuse campaign
A BRAVE mum has revealed her horror injuries after she was strangled, set alight and beaten by her TikTok star ex.
Hollie Hanson left partner Lauren Hanson "broken" after subjecting her to physical and emotional abuse over four years.
The 26-year-old has now been jailed for four years after admitting a string of domestic abuse charges.
Brave Lauren shared a harrowing video to her 52,000 followers, which The Sun Online has chosen not to publish, of the moment she was strangled for two minutes.
She also posted images of herself crying during the abuse and pictures of her injuries.
In one of the pictures, Lauren can be seen with bloodied scratches on her neck.

She captioned it: "Listen to ya gut & never return to that toxic s***".
The mum also told how the relationship "ruined me as a person" as she branded Hanson a "monster".
Lauren added: "Please never be afraid to speak out! It took me 5 years so it’s never too late, justice can be served if your brave & believe in yourself.
"Iv had so many messages from people suffering at the hands of someone they love and I just want to say that I’m so proud of you all and that when your ready please take the steps to finding your closure, safety and happiness [sic]."
Leeds Crown Court was told Hanson, who now goes by the name of Ryder and uses the pronouns 'he/him' and 'they/them', carried out the abuse between 2020 and 2024.
The "possessive and obsessed" TikToker blocked Lauren from using her phone and stopped her from seeing loved ones.
Hanson would control Lauren's finances and on one occasion, attacked her with a vodka bottle before slashing her neck.
The influencer also doused their partner in petrol and set her alight with a cigarette - causing her boots to set fire.
As well as physical abuse, they blocked Lauren's contact with her own child and burned the tot's clothing.
In September last year, Hanson strangled Lauren and threatened to kill her after they were told to leave their apartment in Leeds.
Brave Lauren secretly recorded the vicious attack on her phone and handed it to police.
In her victim impact statement, Lauren said: "She's left a mark on my life that won't go away.
"She's ruined me as a person. I'm vulnerable and a broken person and that's at the hands of Hollie Hanson.
"I've finally come to the realisation that she never loved me. The realisation is that Hollie Hanson is my abuser.
"I worry that I will never get over the pain and hurt she's caused me.
"I hope to never set eyes on her again."
Hanson pleaded guilty to controlling and coercive behaviour, wounding without intent, intentional strangulation, threats to kill and assault by beating.
As well as a jail term, they were handed a restraining order blocking contact with Lauren.
How you can get help
Women's Aid has this advice for victims and their families:
- Always keep your phone nearby.
- Get in touch with charities for help, including the Women’s Aid live chat helpline and services such as SupportLine.
- If you are in danger, call 999.
- Familiarise yourself with the Silent Solution, reporting abuse without speaking down the phone, instead dialing “55”.
- Always keep some money on you, including change for a pay phone or bus fare.
- If you suspect your partner is about to attack you, try to go to a lower-risk area of the house – for example, where there is a way out and access to a telephone.
- Avoid the kitchen and garage, where there are likely to be knives or other weapons. Avoid rooms where you might become trapped, such as the bathroom, or where you might be shut into a cupboard or other small space.

Detective Constable Demi Stubbs, of Wakefield District Adult Safeguarding, said: “This has been a sustained attack lasting several minutes, with Hanson repeatedly making threats about killing the female victim. Hanson then became violent toward one of their friends.
“Hanson has shown they are a dangerous individual who is prepared to use extreme levels of violence in a domestic relationship. Hanson was remanded in custody throughout this court process and has now been jailed.
