Family pays tribute to ‘respected’ architect, 75, ‘stabbed to death’ in £3.5m home – as son, 30, is charged with murder

A "HIGHLY respected" architect's family has paid tribute after he was "murdered" inside his £3.5million London home.
Rory Talbot, 30, was charged with murder on Saturday after his father Mark, 75, died at his home on Deodar Road in Putney at 3.30am on Friday.
Today Mark's heartbroken family described their "tragic loss" after the death.
Mark's 30-year-old son has been remanded in custody to appear at Westminster Magistrates Court tomorrow.
A spokesman for Mark's family said: "We are grateful for the support provided by police, our neighbours and others.
"We ask that our privacy is respected while we come to terms with the tragic loss of a highly respected member of the community."
Photographs of the scene at the time showed a wide police cordon surrounding the ivy-fronted home.
Forensics officers swarmed the scene as cops investigated the death.
A spokesperson for the Met Police said: "Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Mark Talbot who have been affected by this tragic incident."
