THIS is the dramatic moment a Peugeot ploughs into four parked cars at high speed before three people and a dog clamber from the wreckage.
The hatchback crashed, spinning across the narrow residential street into cars on the other side of the road and doing a 180 spin.
Residents rush to the scene after hearing car alarms as three people - one carrying a dog - get out and walk off.
Witnesses told the the woman, two men and their dog flagged down a vehicle in a neighbouring street to ask for a lift.
Just 20 seconds before the smash, a cyclist was filmed passing the same spot.
The red Peugeot 308 spun into a silver Peugeot before spinning into a Volkswagen Golf, black Renault Espace and silver Ford Transit van.
The van contained musical instruments belonging to a the Gas Band.
Bassist Stewart Wilson said they have to wait for the other vehicles to be recovered before they can check the instruments.
He said: "I live opposite where it happened. I saw the red car come down Barcroft Street at such speed.
"It hit the convertible, a Peugeot, and then spun round, hitting at least three or four others."
The Peugeot and Renault were written off and the Volkswagen and Ford van were damaged.
The band's lighting engineer said: "Luckily no one was killed."
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call Humberside Police on 101 quoting log number 467 of April 19.
