Adam Johnson moved to a segregation unit amid fears he will be attacked by lags after shocking secret video where he ‘wished he had raped his teen victim’
Jailed former-footballer was moved as soon as The Sun's story broke as staff feared for pervert's safety
ADAM Johnson has been moved to a segregation unit amid fears he will be attacked after telling inmates he wished he had raped his teen victim.
The ex-England footballer was transferred as soon as our story about his vile comments broke.
A source said: “He has made himself a massive target with his comments. He is already on the sex offenders’ wing, but even among that hated group he has hit a new low.
“These comments are so disgusting that there are fears someone is going to have a go at him.”
Johnson was filmed talking to a fellow inmate about his sentence for grooming and sexual activity with a 15-year-old fan.
One lag said: “It’s not like you f***ing raped her.” Johnson replied: “I wish I f***ing did for six year.”

He is now in the segregation unit at HMP Moorland, South Yorks. It has capacity for just 28 lags, some of whom are held in unfurnished cells so they cannot damage furniture or harm themselves.
Johnson will have access to fewer facilities and cannot play for the prison football team.
The source added: “The staff obviously have a duty of care to each and every last prisoner, whatever they are in for and whatever they have done, so they had to act.
“This is just the latest nightmare for Johnson, but like everything else over the last couple of years, he has no one but himself to blame.”
