The gulls are notorious for stealing food from beachgoers when it suits them - and this one had apparently decided to try the gnashers for a taste of something different.

Snaps of the sneaky seagull were shared to the Spotted in Newton Abbot Facebook site, with the caption: "Someone's false teeth were found on a bench on Torquay harbour at lunchtime.

"Unfortunately anyone missing them will need to contact the seagull as he flew away with them!"

The post has attracted over 200 comments since being shared online.
