Two US troops are killed in Afghanistan during raid against ISIS
Jihadists in Nangahar province had recently been pummelled with the Mother of All Bombs
TWO US servicemen have been killed fighting ISIS in Afghanistan, the Pentagon said.
Navy Captain Jeff Davis said they died overnight in an operation against the terror group in Nangahar Province in the eastern part of the country.
The US has been battling the ISIS Khorasan group - the Afghanistan branch of the main network in Iraq and Syria - for several months.
Earlier this month a US Army special forces soldier was killed in the region.
The Pentagon responded by dropping the ten-ton Mother Of All Bombs - the largest non-nuclear weapon ever used in combat - on an ISIS tunnel complex in Nangahar.
