Young Scots mum, 20, covered in blood & left for dead after being battered in ‘pole attack’ horror

A YOUNG Scots mum was left bloodied and battered after a brutal pole attack in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Tiffany Campbell, from Dalkeith, says she feared for her life as she was savagely ambushed and beaten with a metal pole.
She was left with horrific head wounds and bruising to her brain.
The mum-of-two was rushed to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary where she was treated for deep gashes to her forehead.
Shocking images show her covered in blood, with a huge stitched-up wound on her forehead and her clothes and hair soaked in red.
Speaking from hospital, Tiffany recalled the terrifying moment she thought her life was over.
She told the : “Someone sneaked up on me and attacked me with a pole. They basically left me for dead.
“The last thing I remember before I passed out was screaming, ‘Tell my daughters I love them.’
"I genuinely thought I was going to die.”
The 20-year-old is mum to a three-year-old and a one-year-old.

She was found in a pool of blood and rushed to hospital within four minutes of the attack, where she’s now awaiting a CT scan.
She added: “I’ve already had stitches in my head
“They told me I have bruises on my brain.”
Police have launched a probe into the vicious assault, which took place in the early hours of Saturday, April 12.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "In the early hours of Saturday, 12 April 2025, a report was made to police of an in Dalkeith.
"Enquiries are at a very early stage."
