Terrifying moment masked gang lob bricks at mum’s home and smash car windows with MACHETE in chilling dead-of-night raid

THIS is the terrifying moment a gang of masked men pelted a mum's home with bricks before hacking it with machetes in a nighttime raid.
Samantha, who did not want to use her surname, said the were trying to "kill her" as they surrounded her home in south east London last month.
The 49-year-old, who does not work due to a disability, said the gang attacked her home four times between 9pm and 4am.
Shocking CCTV footage shows eight people walking towards her house before launching bricks at the windows.
In another clip, two men could be seen riding to the property on an electric motorbike and then smashing car windows with a machete.
Samantha believes the gang wanted to enter her home, which she shares with her 19-year-old son, and kill them both.
Despite both CCTV and photographic evidence, police said no further action could be taken as it "was not possible to identify any suspects".
Samantha, who fled the property in the night to escape, has since been rehomed in temporary accommodation.
She said: “We don’t live there anymore - we’ve had to leave the house.
"My son is 19 and got involved with a gang on the estate and but we eventually got him away from them.
“They switched on him and targeted him, but he left them a year ago. We went to the police but they wouldn’t listen.
“My son has special needs, because he’s autistic that’s how he got involved in all this. They took advantage of him.
“They came four times on the same day, it started before 9pm the first one. Two boys on a bike came on and smashed our car up.
“Then they came back with a group and smashed our house up. It’s just me and my son living in the house so we were terrified.
“We managed to get away and they came back again and put the last two windows through. Then they came back at 4am in the morning and tried to force the front door open.
“I believe they wanted to come into that house and kill us. They smashed the window of the front door with a knife.”
Samantha claims that Metropolitan Police failed to arrive on time or take her seriously, despite the growing number of armed men outside.
She's since been rehomed by the council to escape any more violence but worries that it could keep happening.
She added: “Two days later the police sent me a letter saying they’ve closed the case as they can’t identify them as they’ve got masks on.
“We’re in temporary accommodation now because of this. To me that’s like we can do anything we want if we wear a mask or hide our face.
“I gave the police all the names and addresses. This has been going on for a long time.
“There were about nine of them and I was in the house on my own. We can’t live there anymore. The car was smashed up and we’ve had to pay for all the repairs.
“On that evening I asked the police if they could move us but they wouldn’t. I just knew I needed to go, so I took my son and moved into a hotel. It’s a good thing we did go as they came back two more times.
“Then about nine of them coming back and smashing all my windows. There was no help from the police and they aren’t doing anything about it."
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “We received reports of multiple incidents of criminal damage at an address in Southport Road, Greenwich. These took place on Saturday, 22 March, and Sunday, 23 March.
“After reviewing CCTV footage of the incident, we established that it was not possible to identify any suspects. Should any new information come to light, we will consider further viable lines of enquiry.”
