Teacher, 38, ‘bought teen a GUN to take care of pupils blackmailing her over her student sex tape’
A MARRIED teacher has been accused of sleeping with one pupil and buying another a gun to silence blackmailers after she featured in a sex tape.
Kathryn Hagan, 38, has resigned from a US school after being charged with a string of sex, drug and weapon offences.
The stunned mum of the student she allegedly bedded revealed: “When I read the charges I was physically sick.
"It’s an extreme betrayal. I’m very disappointed. I’m angry and I’m hurt that it got to this point.”
Her son, 17, said he had dinner with Hagan and her husband at the couple’s home last month and she gave him an anti-depressant when he got a headache.
She asked him back three days later and they had sex in their bedroom, he told police.
She reportedly texted him afterwards: "I enjoyed kissing you yesterday."

Hagan is said to have begged the boy to keep their relationship a secret, but told him she would not treat him differently in school.
One message said: "I enjoyed our time together but want to be extra cautious. Please be sure to delete everything wherever it can be deleted.”
Another said: “I need to get laid sometime soon.”
Hagan bragged about a love-bite on her neck, court papers allege, while further texts to the teen over the next week said: "Hey cutie, I was thinking maybe we call in sick to school on Friday and meet up at my house for the day."
Three days later, the lad’s mum is said to have found out about the relationship and tipped off authorities at Franklin Central High in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Hagan resigned the same day - just three months after starting there in January.
Detectives then uncovered more alleged crimes after another student told them about a ten-second video circulating around the school showing naked Hagan and the teen having sex.
Some kids tried to use the footage to blackmail Hagan into giving them better grades, court documents said.
She apparently vented her frustration to one 16-year-old, texting him: "I didn’t realise it was a scam to pass my class. Plus, I can’t believe I gave him Xanax. Just a few so he could get some good sleep."
The boy is said to have told Hagan he would "rob them all but I don't have a gun” - and then asked her to get him one so he could "take care of it."
Hagan bought a 9mm handgun and ammunition on the same day she resigned and gave it to the student, according to court documents.
She faces charges of conspiracy to commit armed robbery, two counts of child seduction, dangerous control of a firearm and dealing in a controlled substance.
The mother of the 17-year-old student said: "There’s a lot more involved than what I initially had known. There’s a lot more involved than what my son had known.
“It physically made me ill.”
