A DONALD Trump lookalike was arrested after he staged an election-day limo tour urging voters not to back Labour.
Businessman Andi McCann spent Thursday being chauffeured round Kilmarnock dressed as the US President and using a megaphone to spread his message.
He even hired a pair of Secret Service-style security men to sit beside him in the presidential motor - a limousine nicknamed The Beast.
But The Donald doppelganger was lifted after allegedly entering the car park of a polling station in the town, apparently breaching electoral laws.
It’s believed Labour party members complained to cops and he was held at a police station for around three hours.
But the cheeky Trump fan - sporting a wild blonde wig on his bald head - even managed a snap in the back of the wagon.
Andi, of Cumnock, Ayrshire, insisted his wacky antics went down a storm with voters as he posed for pictures in the trademark red tie and cap combo - while bellowing in a US accent.
The 38-year-old said: “I was being hailed a hero for lightening the mood on what was mostly a dour campaign.
“My intention is to run for the General Election on June 8 as the Trump Card Candidate to Make Kilmarnock Great Again."
Incredibly, dad Andi - who runs a van firm - was a Labour candidate five years ago but was axed after a bust-up with local party bosses.
