Gothic ‘fairy castle’ which Hitler planned to make a Nazi base after collapse of Britain is up for sale at £350,000

Castle boasts four bedrooms, features exposed brickwork and has crucifix windows, as well as panoramic views of 17 acres of parklands

A GOTHIC castle Adolf Hitler wanted to use as a nerve centre following a Nazi invasion of Britain is up for sale for just £350,000.

The fairytale property, which is Grade II listed and dates back to 1811, is located in the same building the führer had planned on sleeping in himself.

Historians believe Hitler would have based himself at the Hall, which is just seven miles away from tourist town Bridgenorth, Shropshire, had his plans to invade the UK been successful.

The Gothic revival house has four bedrooms, features exposed brickwork and crucifix windows, as well as panoramic views of the estate.

The castle boasts 17 acres of communal parkland, comprises four floors, and has its own turret – with an impressive tower clock included.

Experts believe the dictator was drawn to the property’s beauty, and think he would have taken an interest in the Hall as it is geographically in the middle of England, and close to an airbase.
