Film producer who fleeced firm out of £36,000 to pay for luxury holidays accused of spending another £10,000 on TAXIS
Natalie Tither, who used company credit card to book trips, has sentencing delayed as new claims are made
A FILM producer who fleeced an award-winning video production firm out of nearly £36,000 to pay for holidays all over the world may have spent another £10,000 on taxis, a court heard today.
Natalie Tither, 30, abused her position with online firm Casual Films by using a company credit card to book trips around the globe.
She went on the illicit spending spree between January and December last year while working for the company, based in Canonbury, north London.
She was arrested in December, and has already admitted one count of fraud by abuse of position, on the basis she spent around £36,000 on the company credit card.
But prosecutors said the figure was even higher, and sentencing was adjourned so they could reach a final amount and provide an explanation.
They now say the total on the credit card was £46,000 - plus a potential £10,000 through company accounts on Uber, Addison Lee taxis and other spending.
But the defence say no evidence has been provided about the extra spending.

Tither was due to be sentenced at Blackfriars Crown Court today, but the hearing was adjourned until July so both sides could resolve the dispute.
She appeared in the dock in black trousers and a black jacket, with family members watching from the public gallery.
Judge Rajeev Shetty said the £20,000 difference between both sides could affect the outcome of sentencing.
He said: "The court is between a rock and a hard place of potentially sentencing the defendant in a way that doesn't represent potentially the amount that she has stolen."
Adjourning the case, he told Tither: "The court cannot make a decision today whether or not the figure you put forward is the correct one.
"And therefore I am afraid to say there is another delay.
"I appreciate that is perhaps going to be weighing on your mind for the next few months. “
Tither, of Brixton, south London, was granted bail on the conditions she does not go to the company's office or contact the head of finance.
Sentencing was adjourned until July.
The company, which specialises in online advertising campaigns, has won awards for its work for PwC, Rolls Royce and Friends of the Earth.
Past clients include Vodafone, Nestle, Barclays, Samsung and Ernst and Young.
