RAF drone strike saves two ISIS prisoners from public execution by blowing up armed extremists with Hellfire missile
AN RAF drone strike has sensationally stopped a public execution by ISIS thugs in Syria, the Ministry of Defence has said.
The Reaper drone initially spotted a group of fighters from the depraved terror group, also known as Daesh, mustering a large crowd in the town of Abu Kamal in eastern Syria.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Defence (MOD) confirmed that the drone blasted two brainwashed thugs on a nearby roof top prompting the other extremists to flee the scene.
He said: "When a van then unloaded two shackled prisoners in front of the crowd, it became clear that Daesh were organising a public execution.
"Given the large number of civilians present, the Reaper's crew could not target directly the Daesh fighters about to carry out the murders.

"However, two armed extremists were stationed as sentries on the roof of a building overlooking the scene.
"A Hellfire missile was fired immediately, and scored a direct hit which not only killed one of the sentries but also brought the execution to an immediate halt, as the Daesh fighters fled the scene, and the crowd of civilians dispersed."
The attack took place on Tuesday last week.
Between December 2015 and December 2016 the RAF launched 73 air strikes over Syria, killing an estimated 120 brainwashed ISIS fighters and injuring a further 12.

If approved by MPs the Government will have free rein to expand military action against Assad’s forces if they commit another gas attack atrocity.
It comes after chilling new evidence gathered by British spooks linked two rogue Syrian generals to April’s deadly sarin attack which left over 80 innocents dead.
A top Whitehall source confided they were “99.9 per cent” certain Assad’s forces were behind the nerve agent strike.
Now ministers are preparing to put the issue back before the commons if they obliterate Labour at the General Election and gain an unassailable majority.
