THESE are politicians as you’ve never seen them before – jiggling and gyrating in a street dance-off.

The Sun’s video team mocked up this hilarious spoof video ahead of the General Election on June 8.

The clip is taken from the famous MoneySuperMarket advert, in which a group of overweight builders face off against businessmen in suits and hotpants.

But the faces of the characters have been pasted over with some of the major players in British politics.

Theresa May leads out the big booty Tories, who face down Jeremy Corbyn’s construction workers.

Diane Abbott, Emily Thornberry, Tom Watson, Boris Johnson, Michael Gove and Philip Hammond all make an appearance.

Nicola Sturgeon also appears halfway through the clip, pushing Corbyn aside and leading the leftist line by gyrating in front of their rivals.

The video seemed to go down well on Facebook, with some commenters even jokingly suggesting a dance-off might be the best way to decide who gets to run the country.

One commented: “Funny as....best thing I’ve seen so far in a boring campaign. Not one party got a stand out come and vote for me policy or idea.”

Another said: “Basically a fly on the wall clip of what happens behind closed doors anyway, obviously the Labour Party can only wish they were this funky...”

And a third commented: “Let's just make this year's election a dance off it's not like any of them are qualified to be politicians.”
