The reports that on Wednesday freed offender Abdul Rauf, 48, was again seen in the quiet cul-de-sac as children played nearby.

Witnesses claim he drove off after residents rounded on him.

One abuse victim has reportedly told how she came face-to-face with her tormentor.

It is understood only two of the gang are now behind bars.

Evil ringleader, 64, who urged his victims to call him “Daddy”, is doing 22 years, while Mohammed Sajid, 40, received a 12-year stretch.

But Mohammed Amin, 50, Abdul Qayyum, 49, and Hamid Safi, 27, all got five years or less and are believed to be free.

Rauf, Adil Khan, 47, Abdul Aziz, 46, and Kabeer Hassan, 30, are all understood to have been released on licence after serving half their sentences.

The Mirror reports neighbours are furious.

One said: “I didn’t realise they were out. I’m disgusted we weren’t informed so we could warn our children.”

But a police spokesman said: “Anyone who has served time is subject to license.

“All we can do is monitor conditions.”

As reported four of the grooming gang are continuing to battle against being deported to Pakistan five years after being ordered out of Britain.

Ahmed along with Khan, Rauf and Aziz are taking their fight to the Court of Appeal to avoid being booted out – and YOU are paying for it out of your tax.

They are receiving thousands of pounds in legal aid.
