Moment Manchester Arena tannoy announcement told Ariana Grande concert-goers ‘everything is fine’ in bid to calm crowd after ‘nail’ bomb blast
FOOTAGE has emerged revealing a tannoy announcement at Manchester Arena telling concert-goers "everything is fine" after a suicide bomber struck in the crowd.
The clip, filmed by a member of the public, shows people making their way to the exits after the explosion at the end of the gig by Ariana Grande last night.
As people file out, an announcement can be heard telling people that “there’s no problems here”.
The announcement – which came moments after a blast ripped through the crowd killing 22 people – seems to have been aimed at preventing a crowd crush.
The man, who may not have been fully aware of what had happened, urges people not to rush, telling concert-goers “everything is fine”.
The announcer says: “There’s no problems here. Just take your time and keep exiting the building.
“There’s no need to bunch up and run. Take your time, there’s no problems here.
“Thank you for coming and having a good time tonight.
“Everything is fine, just take your time exiting the building. Thank you very much.”
James Corden last night paid an emotional tribute to the city of Manchester and its people in the wake of what cops have confirmed was a suicide bombing.
Harry Styles, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry are among the dozens of celebs to have joined the Late Late Show host in sending their thoughts and prayers to the victims of the attack.
Children are confirmed to have been among dead after a lone terrorist detonated a huge bomb – thought to be packed with nails and bolts – as the concert ended.
Witnesses described the carnage in the aftermath of the blast, with one describing how she picked scraps of human flesh from her hair.

A statement from Greater Manchester Police today said: “We have been treating this as a terrorist incident and we believe that while the attack last night was conducted by one man.
“The priority is to establish whether he was acting alone or as part of a network.
“The attacker, I can confirm, died at the arena.
“We believe the attacker was carrying an improvised explosive device, which he detonated, causing this atrocity.”
