Bikers rode from Olivia’s home town of Bury to Manchester before laying flowers at the city’s St Ann’s Square, where a crowd earlier broke into an impromptu rendition of Oasis' Don't Look Back In Anger following a minute's silence.

The tattoo design featured a large bee, which is the symbol of Manchester, alongside Olivia’s birthdate of November 28, 2001.

Charlotte and Paul also told of the family’s hope that Olivia’s rendition of John Legend song All Of Me would be released as a charity single.

How the bee became the symbol of Manchester

THE bee became a symbol of Manchester after it first appeared on its coat of arms in 1842.

Its inclusion was a nod to the rich industrial heritage of the area, that saw textile mills spring up across the region in the nineteenth century.

They were often described as “hives of activity” with their workers compared to bees.

Today the city’s bins are adorned with a picture of a bee, while the Town Hall has a bee design on its mosaic flooring.

He also revealed the heartbreaking moment he learned that Olivia had died.

He added: "I got the call, I was outside and I got the horrific news.

"I looked up to the sky and a shooting star went across.

"At that time I didn't think anything but I look back now and it was Oli passing over. It was phenomenal."
