‘Heartbroken’ rockers Kiss cancel Manchester Arena concert in wake of terror attack that left 22 dead
The glam rock band said the concert was 'of little consequence' when 22 people had just lost their lives
ROCKERS Kiss have cancelled their concert at Manchester Arena following the bomb attack.
The US band was due to perform on Tuesday as part of their KISSWORLD tour.
A statement said: "We are heartbroken by the atrocity committed against the innocent victims.
"We have always looked forward to these shows and our local fans, but in light of recent events a cancelled rock show seems of such little consequence.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of those affected and all the people of Manchester at this difficult time. We are with you and you are in our prayers."
The venue is closed until further notice. Ticket holders will be refunded.
A WWE wrestling event that was scheduled there for June 6 has also been cancelled.
However a host of Superstar wrestlers will be "visiting with those affected by the tragedy and WWE is making a donation to the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund."
Meanwhile Ariana Grande has vowed to return to Manchester and says she is determined not to "let hate win."
Speaking for the first time since the attack she said: "My heart, prayers and deepest condolences are with the victims of the Manchester Attack and their loved ones.
