Terror cops in hunt for Manchester bomber’s missing blue suitcase as investigators warn public ‘do NOT go near it’
Police have appealed for help tracking down Abedi's movements in the days before attack that killed 22
SUICIDE bomber Salman Abedi drags a blue suitcase through Manchester’s streets — on the day he murdered 22 innocents.
Detectives released the picture as they appealed for information on the whereabouts of the luggage, which could hold vital clues.
Police said Abedi, 22, who appears to be wearing the same baseball cap as when he detonated his bomb at Manchester Arena, had the case in the days leading up to the attack.
Detective Chief Superintendent Russ Jackson said: “Did you see Abedi with this suitcase between the 18th and 22nd of May?
“Where did you see him with it during that time?

“You may have seen him in the Wilmslow Road area or Manchester city centre with the suitcase or know where the suitcase has been.
"If you have any details about the suitcase we need you to get in touch and let us know.
“We have no reason to believe the case and its contents contain anything dangerous but would ask people to be cautious.
“The public should not approach the case if they see it but contact police immediately on 999.”
Investigators were tonight pictured scouring a Bury landfill site in a desperate bid to track down the case.
It is believed the luggage could hold key clues that help police smash evil Abedi's terror network.
At least four police vans were spotted at the Viridor Waste Management site off the M66 early this evening.
The BBC yesterday released a separate video of a man believed to be Abedi shopping in a Spar store close to his Manchester flat the day before the bombing.
The man had a black hoodie and baseball cap and the same distinctive £300 Nike Air trainers Abedi wore on the night of the attack.
He bought shampoo and shower gel along with a can of tuna and some cashew nuts.
The man is then seen walking out the store clutching a carrier bag.
The BBC has passed the footage to investigating officers.
A total of 16 people have so far been arrested in connection with the attack.
