Moment Marbella crash Brit, Marcus Stewart is arrested by Spanish cop after £50k Audi slammed into terrified pedestrians outside Ocean Club bar

THIS is the dramatic moment a gun-toting Spanish cop appears to capture one of the British suspects involved in Sunday’s mayhem outside a Puerto Banus beach club.
In footage obtained by the Spanish press, the brave cop can be seen grappling with a man - thought to be Marcus Stewart.
It is claimed he had tried to flee onto a nearby beach before being cuffed and frogmarched barefoot and bare-chested away from the shoreline.
The breath-taking footage appeared to show Stewart choosing the beach to make his getaway from a £50,000 Audi Q7.
It was not immediately clear why he was wearing so little - and whether his intention may have been to confuse chasing cops by posing as a tourist enjoying a swim.
He is alleged to be one of two Brits in an Audi that mowed down three pedestrians near the Ocean Club before crashing following a high-speed police chase,
The officer, a Civil Guard, can be heard shouting ‘Arriba’ - Spanish for ‘Get Up’ - as he appeared to struggle briefly with tattooed Stewart behind a tree.
Seconds later he emerged with the Brit in front of him, pushing him with his pistol close to his back as he forced him away from the beach.
The suspect appeared not to be dazed, despite having just survived a head-on collision with another vehicle as he and fellow suspect Liam O’Neill were chased by police.
They are later alleged to have failed drink and drugs tests.
The arrests took place in the Coral Beach area of Marbella. O’Neill was not visible in the mobile phone footage.
Both men are due in court tomorrow.
It was still not clear last night who police will accuse of driving the Audi which mounted the pavement near the Ocean Club and injured the three pedestrians before fleeing the scene.
Eight people required hospital treatment, including a young baby. A 29-year-old Brit is still in hospital with a broken leg.
One terrified witness told The Sun: "I was lying on the ground. I thought I was going to die."
Marbella mayor Jose Bernal said yesterday at a press conference Sunday night’s drama had been sparked by an altercation involving at least one of the men at the Ocean Club.
Police are still investigating whether the pedestrians were deliberately targeted.
The incident happened after an annual champagne party both Brits attended at the club, which is a popular magnet for the likes of the Towie cast.
The club’s annual champagne party often ends with revellers spraying each other with bottles of bubbly worth thousands of pounds.
The brother of Danny Graham, the boyfriend of Jose Mourinho’s daughter Matilde, used to work as a former waiter and fixer for the wealthy and glamorous Brits who frequent the club.
Former England footballer Ashley Cole reportedly spent £20,000 on bottles of champagne for him and his friends at the beachside club two summers ago.
