She said: "She'd met Prince William earlier today and then Ariana walked in.
"She has a big smile anyway but it got even bigger, Ariana gave her a hug and a kiss, she was in awe.
"It was absolutely fantastic to see, she was so happy."
Meanwhile, dad Peter Mann, whose daughter was also injured in the attack, took to Facebook to post photos of the visit.

The teen could be seen with a grin plastered on her face as Grande posed for the image on Friday.
Grande has returned to the UK to headline a fundraising concert for the victims of the suicide bombing at her Manchester Arena gig on 22 May.
The 23-year-old singer vowed to return to the city in a defiant message on Friday 26 May and it has now been confirmed that the concert , being produced by Live Nation, is going ahead.
Ariana and her manager Scooter Braun have contacted some of the biggest names in the music industry and booked them to perform.
Ariana has also allegedly been reaching out to her friends and asking them to participate in the concert, which will be held at Manchester’s Old Trafford cricket ground on June 4 .
All proceeds from the One Love Manchester event, which will air on BBC One at 6.55pm, will go to the victims and their families.

Acts that have been confirmed for the concert so far are Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber , Miley Cyrus, Niall Horan , Coldplay, Take That , Pharrell Williams and Katy Perry.
Usher, Usher, Robbie Williams, Little Mix, and the Black Eyed Peas have also been confirmed.
A source has told Sun Online that superstar Madonna may perform at the concert.
The full line-up is still an ongoing process with more artists set to be announced.
Rapper Eminem is also rumoured to be joining, if scheduling allows.
