PC Paul Taylor, from Darlington, was spotted busting a groove with young kids at Ariana Grande benefit gig as Justin Bieber performed on stage.
The police officer was on duty at the all-star charity gig, which was raising money for terror victims or their families after a bomb exploded in the foyer of Manchester Arena moments after US pop star Ariana Grande left the stage.
Paul, who has been an officer for 20 years and got home at 3.30am after working at the gig, revealed in an interview on his force’s page that the whole experience has been “amazing” and he “thoroughly enjoyed the day”.
He said: “I was inside the concert when I was approached by two young girls, I believe they were sisters, probably aged about seven or eight years old.
“They asked if they could have their photograph taken, I was more than happy to do that, they then came back and asked if I’d dance with them.”
Mike Sullivan summed the heartwarming moment up as “British spirit captured in six seconds”.
While another added: “That sums up what’s good about Britain. An on-duty police officer happily dancing with kids, making them happy at a difficult time. Perfect.”
One viewer posted: “I wasn't emotional until I watched that video of the policeman dancing with the kids. Is someone cutting onions in my house or…?”

The singer vowed to return to the city in the wake of the incident, and a stellar line-up of names performed alongside her at the gig.
Take That, Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Niall Horan, Usher, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and Pharrell Williams all took to the stage to raise money for the Red Cross’s Manchester Emergency Fund.
