Russian whistle-blower killed in Britain was murdered ‘on direct orders from Vladimir Putin’
It is reported that US spies are confident the Russian leader or someone close to him was behind the death
A BILLIONAIRE Russian whistle-blower was killed in Britain on direct orders from Vladimir Putin, it has been claimed.
Alexander Perepilichnyy, 44, was found dead outside his Surrey home in November 2012.
British police have said it was not suspicious despite traces of a plant poison found in his stomach.
And the Government has invoked national security powers to withhold evidence from an ongoing inquest into his death.
Before his death he was helping an investment firm to uncover a £150million Russian money-laundering operation.

Buzzfeed News claims US spies are confident he was “assassinated on direct orders from Putin or people close to him”.
The site tracked down a Ukrainian woman, 27, who spent the two days before his death with married Perepilichnyy in a hotel. She claimed he appeared worried.
But an Old Bailey inquest has been told Perepilichnyy never feared for his life.
And his widow has also rubbished the murder claims.
