Group of extreme vegans hunted by police after spraying graffiti over beauty spots
Messages scrawled with marker pens across park signs and trees include: 'I stopped drinking cow’s milk when I realised I wasn’t a baby cow'
A GROUP of extreme vegans are being hunted by police after spraying graffiti on park signs and equipment.
The vigilante Vegan Vandals have targeted family beauty spots in a protest against people eating meat and products from animals.
Messages scrawled with marker pens across park signs and trees include: “I stopped drinking cow’s milk when I realised I wasn’t a baby cow.”
The group added: "Do you love animals? So why do you eat them!"
But the vandalism has been blasted by vegan groups and animal rights charities.
Around 15 sites have been targeted around Broxbourne, Hatfield, Welwyn and Potters Bar, Herts.
Julia Witting, a parish councillor in Stanstead Abbots, Herts, said: “It is a great shame they are apparently in favour of animal rights and yet have damaged a reserve with animals.”
