Bradley Lowery ‘super excited’ as he is finally well enough to set off on holiday to make memories with his family
CANCER tot Bradley Lowery beams at the wheel of a motor as his mum says that he's "super excited" to go on holiday in the final weeks of his life.
The six-year-old Sunderland superfan, whose story of bravery has touched millions, will be well enough to take a trip to Scarborough with his loving family.
Mum Gemma said today: "Well after booking up and having to cancel several holidays the day has come where we are going away to Scarborough for a break.
"Bradley is super excited and is feeling good in himself when he is awake. We not sure if we will get to stop the full week yet but we will just take each day as it comes."
Last week Bradley enjoyed a trip to a toy shop and a restaurant — welcome moments of happiness as his condition continues to deteriorate.

"Last week when I was told brad had weeks to live I was obviously heart broken and the thought of only having a few weeks was unbearable.
"When I look at him now I can't believe it's true it is hard to think he is so poorly, I start to question what I've been told.
"I know it is only wishful thinking on my behalf but when he gives me this smile he looks so well."
Footballer Defoe revealed his pain at finding out best pal Bradley Lowery's cancer was spreading fast - and he doesn't have long left to live.
The England striker texts the six-year-old's mum first thing every morning for updates on the brave Sunderland lad.
He told : "Every day I wake up and text his mum and ask how he's getting on and she says 'it's OK', but the reality is he's struggling.
"She put something out on social media saying he's got a few weeks to live and she messaged me and I didn't know what to say. It was tough, I can't put in words how I felt."
Defoe struck up his friendship with Bradley back in September when the young cancer sufferer led out his beloved Sunderland against Everton at the Stadium of Light.
The Wearside kid, who is fighting neuroblastoma, has joined his hero on several occasions on the pitch, including at Wembley before England's clash against Lithuania in March.
The heartwarming friendship between Defoe and Bradley has touched the nation.
The ex-Tottenham ace admitted: "For me, Bradley has been the highlight of my season. Away from football, the relationship I've managed to have with him and what I've brought to his life and what he's brought to mine, its been really special.
"It's really sad to see him going through what he's going through - he's only six.
"At the same time I still feel blessed I've been able to be in his life.
"I've got so many great memories and moments that I've shared with him that will stay with me for the rest of my life so I'm grateful for that."
