Wolf whistling is dying out as nearly half of tradesmen in a poll now believe it is WRONG
Tradesmen have traded their Friday lunchtime pints for herbal teas as a poll says many say they don't fit the traditional stereotypes
WOLF whistling is dying out as nearly half of tradesmen in a poll now believe it is wrong.
Builders, plumbers, electricians and scaffolders are more like to be seen drinking skinny lattes and eating salads than insulting passing women.
The poll found 48 per cent do not whistle. Builders’ tea is disappearing too with trendy coffees more likely now.
More than a third prefer mineral water while two-thirds are on diets and always opt for healthy lunch choices.
The poll also revealed the average tradesman now earns £32,057, which is £5,000 over the average salary.
About 38 per cent of tradesmen asked said it was wrong to assume that all builders go to the pub early on a Friday.
