The next month The Sun revealed he had been trying to lure a number of young Muslim women, including convert and former Page 3 girl Kimberley Miners.

Hussain, also known as Abu Usamah al-Britani, and the accused girl, who cannot be named, allegedly planned to attack a museum.

He is said to have arranged the delivery of “pineapple” hand grenades and a pistol through contacts in this country.

When he was killed in Raqqa the girl, now 17, allegedly communicated with them directly.

Westminster magistrates’ court heard she was told how to use the weapons and asked for help carrying out the attack.

Prosecutor Karen Jones said: “She had a desire to become a martyr.”
