Brits arrested in Magaluf drugs raids as club owners are warned to clean up their act
Most of the raids were carried out in Punta Ballena, Magaluf's main strip of bars and clubs
COPS in Magaluf have arrested several Brits in a massive drugs raid at the popular party resort.
Eight suspected traffickers were arrested in the early hours of the morning as officers seized heroin, cocaine, pills, marijuana, hashish and cash.
35 uniformed and plain clothes police officers took part in the raids under the code name "Operation White Corner".
Most of the raids were carried out in Punta Ballena, Magaluf's main strip of bars and clubs.
The eight suspects include Brits, Pakistanis and Nigerians.
Most were working on the streets, allegedly selling drugs to holidaymakers and bar and club staff.

Worried residents alerted the police because of suspected drug pushers and tourists causing a disturbance.
Police believe all eight were part of an organised gang.
Further operations are reportedly in the pipeline with more arrests are anticipated.
The raids come after local businesses and the council called on authorities to act on a pledge to stamp out "tourism of excesses".
But there are claims efforts are being scuppered by some businesses who do not want change - leading to calls for heavy fines to be put in place for owners breaching 'co-existence' laws.
