Dolphin-shaped balloon a man gave his wife three days before he tragically died is still inflated 47 YEARS later

A DOLPHIN-shaped balloon a man gave to his wife three days before he died in a car accident is still inflated 47 years on.
Mooneen Truckle, 83, has kept it in a boiler room since 1970.
Husband Ronald Gardener bought the balloon at a Fina petrol station near their home.
Mooneen, of Amesbury, Wilts, said: “I’ve kept it for sentimental reasons. It reminds me of my husband. The flippers look a bit deflated, but otherwise it looks in good shape.
“I am too scared to try to put more air in it because it might pop!”
Last week we told of a balloon that is still inflated after 26 years. It was given to Yvonne and David Freeborn in Bromley, South London, after their daughter was born.
