A DIY dad who built his son a baby walker using pipes after refusing to fork out £60 has sold one on eBay - receiving a £66,000 bid.
Mark Hoyle - better known as blogger LadBaby - built the contraption out of white plastic pipes, attaching wheels and even toys clipped on with shower hooks.'
He came up with the penny-saving plan after his other half asked him to pick up a baby walker costing £59.99 on his way home from work.
After sharing a hilarious video of his wife's reaction - and the Zim Zimmer in action - he was inundated with requests from parents asking him to make them one.
To test the waters, he decided to list it on eBay - and was blown away by the response.
In a post on his , Mark, from Hemel Hempstead, Herts., said so many bids were made within 24 hours that eBay shut the listing down fearing it was "dodgy".
After relisting it, the Zim Zimmer sold today with an unbelievable winning bid of £65,900.
It's Mark's latest unorthodox creation - he has previously packed his lad's lunch in a toolbox and turned a skip into a swimming pool.
In the hilarious video, Mark films himself sat in the car as his wife tells him he needs to pick up the walker on his way home.
He says: "I ain't doing it. I ain't spending £60 on a walker, absolutely no chance.
"I've got 12 hours whilst at work to figure out what I'm going to do.
"I've got to come up with something."
The clip then shows him at home presenting the home-made walker to his unimpressed wife.
She cries: "What is taht? That's not what I told you to get! Where did you even buy it?" before breaking down in fits of laughter.
"You've excelled yourself at this one.
"I can't believe you've made that and it's sturdy - no offence.
"What goes through your head?"
He says: "Money. Money goes through my head.
"He's gonna love it!"
Despite her initial reservations, she eventually comes round after seeing their adorable little lad racing around the room.
