Bizarre moment driver spotted herd of COWS packed into tiny white van in Devon

Beefed-up truck was seen on the road to Exeter on Friday

THIS driver milked his tiny van for all it was worth — stuffing four calves in the back.

A shocked driver spotted the beefed-up baby truck on a rural road in Devon on Friday.

One cramped cow stares glumly out the window of the Suzuki Carry 1.3 — one of the smallest vans on the market.

Marcus Wilks, who took the snap, said: "Is this legal? Saw it going into Exeter this morning.".

The van was on the A30 between Fernridge Farm, Prewley Farm and Oakridge Farm.

Animal welfare laws state that it is not necessarily illegal to transport livestock in this way.

When moving animals they must be transported in a way that will not cause them injury or unnecessary suffering.
