Trouble flared after prisoners were kept on an extended lockdown due to staff shortages
RAMPAGING lags have been filmed throwing a party after seizing control of a prison wing.
One dances a victory jig egged on by pals.
Another brags: “We took over wing mate — f*** them.”
Other prisoners bang their fists on cell doors.
Separate footage shows anti-riot officers entering The Mount in Bovington, Herts, to restore order.
A source said: “People have set fires and caused flooding. It’s carnage.”
Andrea Albutt, president of the Prison Governors Association, warned yesterday that many jails were in “crisis”.
